Rules

Please follow these rules when using this site..

- 'What is your (realistic / tested) solution?'. Simply stating an 'obvious' problem without (preferably 'tested' on increasingly large scaler) posible solution is easy. Anyone can do that! 'I want all others (the world) to change, but I'm not willing to make any changes!' is not very constructive.

- 'Add value' to society. Do or say something that will make life (the process) easier (better, faster and more efficient) for the next person or group of people.

- 'Mutual Respect'. Show empathy / sympathy. Put yourself in others shoes or place. Think of others (different points of view) i.e. night shift workers, noise etc. Not everyone has the same wants or needs as you.

- 'Challenge the ideas', not the people! You will be banned for any personal attacks.

- 'Be a team player' once agreed on the end goals and conditions.

- 'GTP'. 'Get To the Point!' :)

- 'Be objective', not subjective (where possible). Remove emotion and stick to facts (if relevant).

- 'Reduce the rhetoric'. Use point form (where possible).

- 'Clarity'. Be clear and concise. Use specific 'unique identifiers' where possible. Ambiguity only creates confusion, errors and more work (expends more time, energy and money) for all and creating more delays.

- Who (organisation, group, role, job title) is your 'target audience'? No individual personal details to be entered. Ever!

- 'EMOA'. Explain (on first mention) (or link to) the Meaning Of Acronyms.

- Use reason, logic, facts to 'negotiate' your way to a compromise, not by brute force.

- You should only 'request' not 'expect' or 'demand' others to follow your way of thinking or doing. If others are not aware of local customs, protocols or 'un-writted' rules then politely discuss or inform them of this site.

- This site alone has no 'direct' legal authority. Hence get your numbers / votes and inform your local political member of this site!

Simplicity:

When creating or editing a post try to keep to some basic rules, such as..

We use the 5 x 'W' (and 1 x 'H') where possible, we suggest you do as well.

If conditions are to 'include' or 'exclude'.

- What? - Use the title, summary for searching on.

- Why? - Reason to modify process, standard, problem to solve.

- When? - Date/Time Conditions.

- Where? - Geographical location condition e.g. Country etc.

- Who? - Target Audience (To) and author (From).

- How? - Request or suggestion to resolve or FYI.
